We invite you to Haapsalu - the most romantic place in Estonia. Place where the old legends and more than 700-year-old history of the city coincide with the present day. Haapsalu manages to surprise – it can welcome you as a cosy province town or draw you in the centre of middle age between the walls of the Episcopal castle. People interested in history should also take some time to step in the churches typical to the Lääne County. For young people it’s important that Haapsalu is one of the sunniest places in Estonia and the sea water is one of the warmest.

Haapsalu is also called the Nordic Venice. There are quiet sea shore promenades, cafes and restaurants with a view at the sea, twisty streets leading to the sea and beautiful wood architecture. A lot of cultural events take place in the town during summer, including concerts of many well known artists in the world. Night club Africa and the water centre draw guests to Haapsalu in winter time.
